Dear Badminton Community,
New Zealand moved into Alert Level 4 at 23:59 on Tuesday 17 August for 7 days. For our region, the Alert Level will be reviewed after 3 days.
Badminton Update
Please read below for an update about ongoing programmes and events during each Alert Level, so that you may prepare.
- Alert Level 4
- No Badminton Manawatu activities will operate.
- Alert Level 3
- No Badminton Manawatu activities will operate.
- Alert Level 2
- Thursday Night Badminton League will resume.
- Junior Rep training at Arena will resume.
- Shuttle Time Youth League at Arena will resume.
- Shuttle Time Primary School Competition at Arena will resume.
- Clubs based at Arena may resume.
- Alert Level 1
- Shuttle Time Badge Classes in PNINS will resume.
- Junior Rep training in PNINS will resume.
- Senior Rep practice in PNINS will resume.
- Shuttle Time delivery in schools will resume.
- Clubs based in schools may resume.
Badminton Manawatu have a robust COVID-19 Health and Safety Procedure in place to safely operate activities under Alert Levels 1 & 2.
We will make decisions about each programme/event as appropriate in the aftermath of each review of the Alert Level status by the NZ Government.
